Starter Motor and it’s working:
Construction of starter motor is same as of D.C generator construction.
1. Body
2. Armature.
3. Commutator.
4. Field winding.
Working of starter Motor:
The motor working depends on the type of current or that provided to a battery. It is fixed on the side of the engine. The motor should be power full to turn the engine at high speed such that the carburetor gives the air fuel mixture that suitable.it should produce heavy torque at starting and at low speed. In this type of motor the lower internal resistance is obtained.
