Spring control and Gravity control: In this article we will discuss about Spring control and Gravity control difference.
Spring control :
- In the spring control system, there should be a direct proportional control in between controlling torque and angle of deflection of a pointer.
- If there are any changes in temperature the spring control system may get the effect by it.
- In this system, the position of spring control can be held in any position like vertical or horizontal.
- Due to there is a directly proportional in between deflection angle and current flow in spring control system the scale shown is uniform.

Gravity control system:
- If the system consists in directly proportional in between angle of sin and current then it is known as Gravity control.
- If there are any changes in temperature gravity control cannot effect by it.
- In this system, the position of gravity control should be in vertical.
- And in this system there is nonuniform is shown in scale.
Advantages of gravity control:
*) gravity control is comparatively low cost.
*) This system does not depend on temperature.
*) The construction is easy.
*) According to the type of conditions torque can be changed.
Disadvantages of spring control:
*) Spring control system is costly compared to gravity type.
*) this type of system depends on the temperature.
*) there is a little complex in construction.
